Craig Wireless Systems Ltd announced on 28 November that it has been awarded a spectrum license by Industry Canada on behalf of the Canadian Government. The license will allow the company to convert its multi-point distribution service (MDS) spectrum in the Vancouver area to a WiMAX service.
